1. Benedict XVI will canonize his old friend, Il Papa, John Paul II, who will be credited for numerous miracles not just those 2 required by the Vatican.
2. More terrorist attacks will hit Europe in 2006, more riots, late winter and the spring. Also a plan that involves financial institutions, around the globe.
3. Oil hit $60 a barrel on June 23rd. Look for it to hit $80 a barrel in early 2006.
4. Expect to see the Aurora Borealis appear in many locations that the Northern Lights are not usually seen in America. The prevalent color will be red - a sign of an increase in the areas the USA will be involved in war. Look to Iran and Saudi Arabia. Green in the Aurora Borealis denotes ecological disasters - California, Florida, the Northeast. Power outages in California due to floods and a wild winter. Watch the Lake Tahoe area have more snow than Canada this year.
5. If I worked in American Intel, where would I look as a starting point for WOMD to enter the USA? I would look to Nicaragua and follow them to Mexico and watch that southern border.
6. Look for the War in Iraq to be a hot political button in 2005 with members of Congress calling for Our Troops to come home NOW.
7. The stock market will begin to resemble a roller coaster in Sandusky, Ohio. Economy is rocky first quarter of the year, bouncing back in summer. Begin to think now about safer investments, so as not to take a financial hit in '05. Real estate and improving your home are safe bets. Collectibles, such as antiques and old toys are things to buy. Think twice about throwing out your kid’s old toys, they could prove to be worth a lot more than their original prices. Medical technology is a safe bet in the Stock Market. The Market will recover in 2006 going higher in the Fall.
8. We will see a boom in entrepreneurs and self-employment when layoffs and jobs going overseas continue in 2005. The resourceful Americans and Canadians will prevail, not fail.
9. Earthquakes will continue to rumble in California, but the Big One is not yet. Quakes and floods will increase in 2005, and hit some areas, such as the Midwest and east coast of Canada and the USA (New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Ohio, Philadelphia and Chicago) that we don't usually think of as being in the Quake Zone. Look for the intensity to increase 7+ quakes during 2005. Let the 9.0 earthquakes in South Asia, be a warning. For safety's sake, keep a supply of canned foods and clean water in your home. Expect to see more seaquakes in 2005. The Pacific Rim is not done shaking and the Indonesian area will be hit again this spring. More quakes on the way. Watch for a pattern, quakes in Japan, then India, Mexico and then California.
10. In 2005 many people will begin an exodus from city life as they begin to feel, subconsciously, it's time to move outside city limits and begin a simpler life. They will begin to feel the spiritual pull in their lives to seek something more than money.
11. Natural healing will begin to see a boom, as people awaken and admit prescription drugs aren't the answer. Expect another revelation in the vein of Vioxx. This will have people in droves, taking personal responsibility for their health and not depending on pills.
12. Another outbreak of SARS will appear in China, expect 2 similar illnesses to appear on a global scale in
2005. (Avian and Pig Flu). Clean drinking water is a must this year and will be a lifesaver in some countries.
13. Yes, lots of nasty weather in California especially in March. The intensity of these quakes will get some diehard West Coasters, to pick up stakes and move east. Be careful; don't buy any coastal real estate. It's just like tossing money into the oceans, literally and figuratively.
14. What would I invest in? Canadian oil, Land. It's the best move you can make and Alternative Energy. Best if there is fresh water well on your land.
